Club History & InformationTarannau Aberystwyth were founded in 1991 and enjoyed early success, going 5-3 in their first season and over the next 6 years posting three 7+ win seasons, going undefeated through the 97 regular season and making their way to the college bowl. Recently the club has been unable to find consistency with a mixture of success, the 2006-07 season however did see Tarannau win the southern plate competition. Tarannau Aberystwyth is one of four teams in the BUAFL that represent universities in Wales along with Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor. Two previous Head Coaches have gone on to become professional coaches in the USA; Richard Worsell Illinois College - Offensive Coordinator & Stephon Healey Bridgewater College - Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Line
